Phra Rahu Rian by Ajarn Lek (Ajarn Annop)
For those who believe in destiny and astrology, worshiping Phra Rahu is of great interest. In astrology, it is believed that when Rahu moves, it affects the fate and zodiac signs of individuals.
Carrying or worshiping Phra Rahu allows one to make direct wishes to their personal Rahu amulet, positively influencing their destiny, turning misfortunes into blessings, eliminating obstacles, and bringing prosperity. It is believed to attract wealth, continuous financial flow, career advancement, and overall success, helping devotees achieve riches and abundance.
Phra Rahu Worship Chant
Recite “Kha Phut Pan Thu Tham Wa Kha” (12 times), followed by:
“I (your full name) humbly worship Phra Rahu with (8 or 12) black offerings. May the power of Rahu bring good fortune to my destiny. May my career path be illuminated, may I encounter only good-hearted people, may I enjoy good health free from illness, may my family be filled with happiness, and may Phra Rahu grant me prosperity and success. (Make additional personal wishes as desired.)”
After completing the ritual, recite the offering dismissal chant:
“Sesang Mangkala Yachami.”
You may then consume a small portion of the offerings for blessings and good fortune, but always recite “Kha Phut Pan Thu Tham Wa Kha” before eating.
Biography of Ajarn Annop, Wat Tham Khao Noi, Phetchaburi
Phra Ajarn Annop (also known as Ajarn Lek) resided at Wat Nong Ya Plong, where he studied Buddhist teachings and monastic disciplines. After the Buddhist Lent, he embarked on a pilgrimage across various regions, eventually arriving at Tham Khao Noi Hermitage, Tha Rong, Ban Lat, Phetchaburi Province. Seeing the location’s suitability for meditation and spiritual practice, he decided to stay.
Over the years, he gained immense respect and faith from devotees. He developed Tham Khao Noi Hermitage into a center for spiritual practice, earning the devotion of local laypeople. Without solicitation or donation boxes, the temple grew solely from the faith-driven offerings of devotees.
All contributions were used for the restoration and development of the once-abandoned hermitage, leading to the construction of monastic quarters, a multipurpose hall, a chanting hall, a dining hall, a bell tower, and more. These developments have established a stable foundation for religious ceremonies, allowing more people to access Buddhist teachings.
Additionally, Ajarn conducts annual Guru Worship and Teacher Blessing Ceremonies to honor and express gratitude to past masters and teachers who have passed down sacred knowledge to their disciples.
