In the year BE 2514, a distinguished committee of high-ranking Royal Thai Naval disciples commissioned a special series of amulets to serve as a sacred morale-booster and protective shield for naval officers graduating from the 9th Phanna-Wi Training Course at the Naval Rating School.
The historic single-monk consecration ceremony took place at Wat Lahan Rai on the highly auspicious date of September 9, BE 2514 (1971). Unlike regular mass blessing ceremonies, Luang Pu Tim sat in deep, unbroken samadhi meditation, channeling his spiritual force into this batch entirely on his own from morning until nightfall without uttering a single word.
