A Life of Deep Spiritual Discipline and Magical Knowledge
Luang Phor Kuay, also known by his monastic name Phra Phutthathera Kittivaddho, was born in 1913 in Chaiyaphum Province, Thailand. Recognized as one of the most revered monks of his time, he became known for his profound meditation practice, mastery of traditional Thai healing, and deep knowledge of mystical and magical sciences.
At the age of 20, he was ordained as a novice monk. Over the years, he trained under various highly respected masters, absorbing the teachings of both Theravāda Buddhist doctrine and Thai esoteric rituals. His spiritual depth and strict discipline earned him the title “Luang Por” (revered father monk).
Wat Kositaram and the Power of His Amulets
Luang Phor Kuay later became the abbot of Wat Kositaram, a temple that would grow into a spiritual hub under his guidance. Here, he dedicated his life to:
-
Teaching Dhamma
-
Offering blessings and protection
-
Creating powerful amulets and takrut scrolls
-
Practicing and preserving traditional Thai Buddhist rituals
His amulets, particularly the “Rian Phra Phutthathera” (blessed medallions) and Takrut, are renowned for their potent protective qualities, including:
-
Shielding from physical harm and black magic
-
Attracting luck and prosperity
-
Promoting health, emotional balance, and spiritual clarity
Every amulet was empowered through long meditation sessions, chanting of sacred katha, and consecration rituals rooted in centuries-old Thai magical tradition.
Healing Wisdom and Humble Service
Aside from his spiritual influence, Luang Phor Kuay was also admired for his knowledge of herbal medicine and traditional healing, which he used to treat the sick and help those in need. People from all over Thailand traveled to seek his help—both for physical ailments and spiritual guidance.
Despite his growing fame, he remained humble, accessible, and deeply committed to preserving the Thai Buddhist way of life. His teachings emphasized compassion, mindfulness, and the ethical use of sacred knowledge.
A Lasting Legacy of Protection and Blessings
Luang Phor Kuay passed away in 1991, but his influence continues to grow. His amulets are among the most respected in Thai spiritual culture, cherished by collectors, devotees, and practitioners seeking real spiritual power and protection.
Today, his disciples at Wat Kositaram continue his mission, keeping alive his teachings, rituals, and the spiritual energy that made Luang Phor Kuay a true guardian of Thai Buddhism.
